1.4. Use of personal equipment is allowed upon prior approval from studio staff and subject to necessary safety measures.
1.5. The studio may also be used for various events subject to prior agreement.
2. Rental Time
2.1. Regular studio hours are daily from 8:00 to 24:00. Rental outside these hours is possible by prior agreement.
2.2. Rental is charged hourly.
2.3. Rental time begins at the agreed booking time, not at the start of the shoot, regardless of the actual arrival time of the renter and accompanying persons, and includes time for preparation, lighting setup, make-up, changing, etc. It is recommended to arrive exactly at the agreed time or no earlier than 5 minutes before (as the studio may still be occupied by the previous renter).
2.4. A minimum rental of two hours is recommended, considering the time typically required for preparation and completion of the shoot.
2.5. The renter must finish the shoot and vacate the studio before the end of the agreed rental period unless otherwise agreed with the studio staff. Extension is possible if the time slot is not booked by another renter.
2.6. Full payment must be made before the rental begins.
3. Cleanliness and Order
3.1. Entry to the studio is allowed only in slippers (provided) or clean indoor shoes.
3.2. Shooting in shoes is permitted only if the shoes are clean and prepared in advance (soles must be clean and dry).
3.3. If children are present during the shoot, accompanying adults are responsible for their safety and behavior.
3.4. Pets are welcome. Please ensure they have clean paws, calm behavior, and are on a leash.
3.5. The renter must maintain cleanliness and leave the studio in the same condition as received.
3.6. The following are prohibited in the studio:
- - smoking, including electronic cigarettes (smoking is allowed outside the studio);
- - using glue, tape, drilling, or any attachments on studio surfaces, furniture, or equipment without prior approval;
- - use of open flames, pyrotechnics, smoke bombs (smoke machines are permitted), corrosive or strongly odorous substances and products.
3.7. Any potentially risky ideas for the interior, equipment, or people must be agreed upon in advance.
3.8. Alcohol consumption in the studio is allowed only with prior approval. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied entry.
4. Equipment, Furniture and Props
4.1. All rented equipment is provided in working condition.
4.2. Technically complex equipment is handed over at the beginning of the rental period with verification of functionality and accepted back at the end of the rental period in the same manner.
4.3. A brief instruction on the use of rented equipment is provided before the rental.
4.4. In case of damage or destruction of equipment, furniture, or props due to the renter’s fault, the renter must compensate the full amount of the damage.
4.5. At the beginning of the shoot, studio staff may assist with setting up a basic lighting scheme and initial equipment configuration. For complex and expensive equipment, studio staff may supervise its operation.
4.6. If ongoing assistance from a studio assistant is required during the shoot, the service is charged separately.
4.7. Furniture, props, equipment, and modular constructions may be moved upon the renter’s request (except seasonal setups), subject to approval and possibly with staff assistance.
4.8. An audio speaker is available for renters to connect via Bluetooth.
4.9. A 27'' monitor is available for renters to connect their own laptop (or the studio laptop) for visual control. Use of the studio laptop must be requested in advance when booking.
4.10. Renters may use the studio WiFi without limitation.
5. Background Rental
5.1. Paper backdrops are consumable materials and are subject to a fixed rental fee according to the current price list.
5.2. If a paper backdrop is damaged or stained by the renter in a way that makes further use impossible without cutting, the fixed rental fee is charged at double rate.
5.3. If a perfectly new section of paper backdrop is required, the renter pays double the fixed rental fee per each 1 linear meter of new paper laid on the floor.
5.4. The studio also offers artistic backdrops — prints and fabrics — installation of which is charged separately.
6. Cyclorama Use
6.1. The value of the cyclorama lies in its perfectly smooth surface and high-quality paint finish. Therefore, special care is required when using it.
6.2. Do not step onto the cyclorama in shoes unless necessary. Shoes must be removed when entering the cyclorama.
6.3. If shooting in shoes on the cyclorama is necessary, shoes must be clean and dry. The soles must be covered with protective tape (provided free of charge). The renter must monitor the integrity of the tape and replace it if necessary.
6.4. Shooting in high heels is allowed only with prior approval and mandatory use of protective silicone heel caps (available for purchase at the studio). The renter must ensure heel caps are properly used to prevent surface damage.
6.5. Movement of objects that may scratch the cyclorama surface must be done with the participation of a studio representative.
6.6. Use of liquids, paints, or juggling heavy objects on the cyclorama is prohibited unless explicitly agreed with studio staff.
6.7. Avoid applying strong pressure to the curved sections of the cyclorama, as these are the most fragile and difficult parts to restore.
6.8. Do not remove pantographs, light fixtures, modifiers, or other suspended heavy objects yourself — this must be done by studio staff.
6.9. In case of damage or significant contamination of the cyclorama, the renter must pay for restoration works.
6.10. The cyclorama is repainted as needed. If fresh painting is required before a shoot, the cost is agreed individually.
7. Liability
7.1. The renter bears full financial responsibility for any damage caused to the studio, including damage caused by participants of the renter’s shoot.
7.2. The studio cares about the safety of renters. Please follow the rules and staff recommendations. In case of non-compliance, the studio shall not be liable for consequences, except as required by law.
7.3. In case of serious violations (damage, smoking inside, severe intoxication, failure to follow staff instructions), the rental may be terminated without refund.
